Containment & Air Filtration
To prevent mold spores from spreading, we establish containment barriers to seal off the affected room and use HEPA-filtered negative air machines to isolate affected areas. Plastic sheeting is used to create effective containment and prevent cross-contamination. During the containment and air filtration process, technicians wear gloves and other protective gear to ensure safety.
Mold Removal & Surface Treatment
We remove contaminated porous materials, such as drywall, deep-clean affected surfaces, and apply EPA-approved antimicrobial treatments to stop mold from returning. Cleaning agents like hydrogen peroxide and vinegar may be applied to affected surfaces and allowed to sit for several minutes before scrubbing. After treatment, we wipe surfaces clean to rid them of mold and prevent regrowth.
